The warm-up
About four weeks to full volume.
New mailboxes cannot safely send at full volume on day one. Each one starts with a few emails a day and works up over about 4 weeks. The most each mailbox sends in a day:
- Week 1up to 5 emails a day
- Week 2up to 15 emails a day
- Week 3up to 25 emails a day
- Week 4up to 35 emails a day
- From day 29up to 40 emails a day
These are ceilings, not targets: a mailbox whose health checks call for it is held lower. If you have a date to hit, tell us when you ask for a quote, so the plan allows for the warm-up.
